saw this one already but he didn't show the power of the super res zoom... that's the one that will influence my decision to go for pro or non-pro.

want to see how the super res zoom 5x on pixel compares with a normal optical 5x zoom (on pro or other models/brands). if google can make its 5x super res zoom almost the same as an optical 5x zoom to the naked eye... no need to wait liao lol

personally I really like p7's form factor - size, weight, finishing, etc. if no choice then I go for the pro..

there're already a few zoom test on youtube for the 7 pro.

generally it's sharp? but it's 'soft'. idk how to describe... overall it's lacking something.

Its not so sharp as compared to optical. Try s22 ultra and you can see the real difference. S22 ultra step up their game in the telephoto side of things. So it is really hard for google to use computational side to mimic the optical zoom quality. They may catch up. But not today.

It is only good on phone screen. If you zoom in or pixel peep. It is extremely soft. To buy the 7 pro the deciding factor should not be because of telephoto cam. It should be the overall synergy of using a stock android experience.

Seems to depend on your luck. The P7 at Challenger Tamp 1 the rainbow effect is quite obvious, but the P7 at Courts Tamp Mall it isn't (or maybe very barely) visible.

Also, side by side, the whites on the P7 Pro seem more white, if that makes sense.
