You are right maybe my routine too simple basically when I return home when my phone detect the wifi it will auto mute my phone

However for pixel we can create a routine 'shortcut' as circle below based on the action setup to trigger the action, perhaps not as good as Samsung I guess since I didn't use any since pixel 4

Two days review with my P7P. Feels lighter than P6P. The overheating phenomenon is not as acute as P6P. Almost non-existent and this is a huge Plus for me.

Other things being equal, the software is really much better than P6P ! Definitely worth it!

Been using it with CaseMate Tough Clear Case bought fr Google Store too. Works fine!

How is the battery life so far? I am a bit hesitant due to the display battery drain

Can last about 12-13hrs on normal usage - office worker context. By the time I knock ogf around 6pm it's at about 20%. Way better than P6P!

Google Routines do have location based, just not found in the phone rofl. I search whole night thinking phone missing functions LOL.

Tbh still very hard to say at this point of time. For android, it needs a few days in order to get it stabilised. As far as i know, yesterday the battery mileage was horrendous. Outside most of the time and that is where it takes more power for sure. So i guess the LTPO panel has an issue with power usage.

But this cant be conclusive yet at the moment. Cause the device is still new, im constantly every few minutes looking on it on how to customised this and that. So it is definitely not so relevant to everyday usage.

However i can say the standby time is pretty good so far. As my replies above. 11.45pm to 7am unplug, the device just sips 1% so far.

Im actually very happy with my P7P but the only thing making me worried is the storage space. I thought 128 will be enough since I don plan to port my photos from my iPhone over. But somehow after setting it up 2 days ago, it’s left with 78gb. Lol. Most of you P7P users got the 256gb is it?

My white Pixel watch from USA is on the way to me now but dang ill be in Bali when it arrives. Was hoping to bring it with me on a trip to test lol.

256gb is like the bare minimum I would say. Games like diablo immortal takes up 20gb or more.

Apart from that, the usage storage will definitely grow after some time.

Anyway to mitigate this issue. I always back up to NAS. So I'm not worried by storage concerns yet atm.

The rule set is very limited function, mostly control the phone volumn behavior like screenshot below and once set it will auto trigger based on wifi connection or when it detecting the location.

You can test it to see if it suit you, example for my use case below



When it detect my home wifi it will trigger 'silent' mode



When I turn off my phone wifi using LTE as simulate away from home it will trigger 'ring' automatically

Have 2 phones, so I’m using 128. Used half the storage so far.

They provide FOC Google One storage of 100GB for 3 months haha...

Anyway... Cannot lah, tried bringing this phone out with case and no SP, damn risky... Leaving the Pixel at home until the film arrives...
