it really depends on how much do u value the 250 google store voucher.. shopee usually the best voucher is 100 off 1000.. Google store not sure will have the 100 or 150 discount vouchers that they gave during launch.. so far the only phone google sold on shopee was the 6a.. and the offers post launch were much better than the launch offers..
6a post lanuch is better because the news cycle basically filled by Pixel 7 and 7p. Now that the Pixel 7 series have sold so strongly and reviewed well, not sure whether they want to give up their margin for more offers.

Another leak corroborates existence of Pixel Ultra but says it'll have a 1-inch sensor

Lol how much bigger in size is it going to be compared with the 7 pro to be called ultra? Maybe need 2 hands hold at all times.

If it's having a bigger screen (E.g 7 inch), will be almost same as Huawei Mate 20x(7.2inch).

now no more freebies liao

Either wait for 11.11 12.12 or another #teampixel launch event - just like the one organized for pixel 6a?

Can see when screen is lit up? If cannot it's a non issue for me because I don't look at the screen when it's off.
You won't notice the difference when the screen is turned on. I am afraid it will cause reliability issue when the screen pixel is being pushed for long period of time.

Cant see if lit up for sure

Usually I will suggest.... Unbox and check it once, once everything ok, DONT go check it again liao especially after using it for a period of time. If u OCD, i am sure will find some scratches/micro dots or what de....
Sometimes can't be helped when have real OCD, even admiring the phone you will also start to check for any blemishes. :frown:

By the way, if you do observe the same, please report to google directly. I have just filed a report.
This issue is not widely reported at the moment. But it is a problem from reliability point of view.

Pushed meaning in the future will have dead pixels in that area?

If it's a design feature then I'm afraid there's nothing we can do other than wait till the time comes and mass claim warranty for hardware defect.

Holy crap you made me see my p7p in a new light literally because I had to shine a torchlight directly on the screen to see the under display artifact you talking about in the top right corner.

It looks almost like got under display sensor or something opaque there.

But what exactly was told to you by the engineer at the service center about what it is and it's function, and how/who to file a report with for an issue which will only possibly show up down the line?

If I never shine a torchlight on the screen I will never know about it sia... You might be the world's first to discover this feature. :s13:
