I prefer to get e sim whenever possible so if I travel to another country where the Telco do not support e sim I can always pop in a physical sim card, and that is really useful. And I did some research, there are cases where the phone is sold by the Telco but the Telco didn't support it. -_-Read somewhere that most telcos are just not setup to handle eSIMs well. It is a classic case of not being ready for the new technology. Hopefully they will improve and move with the times. Personally think the future is with eSIMs i.e. ability to support multiple eSIMs concurrently etc. This will facilitate travelling who will be able to purchase eSIMs before arriving at destinations. Imagine the cost savings i.e. not need to issue/ replace SIM cards. Just my 2 cents. Hopefully you can find a solution to your issue. Would be interested to learn the solution.
I did the port once I got the phone. However after I updated the P7 system, the e sim refuses to work. I removed and factory reset with no luck. It's now working fine on my iphone 11.I'm also using esim from circles and they do have a limit on the number of phones you can scan the QR code on. so might want to check how many times you have used the esim already. I do that quite often as I do change phones & play with phones so sometimes in order to get a new QR code, I got to go to the manage order page and click "lost esim", pay the $25 dollar replacement fee and get a new QR code sent.
I know I can save the trouble of paying them $25 if I get the physical sim but I do also use a physical SIMBA sim on my Pixels so that I get Dual Sim (physical & esim) and roaming when I travel... =P
I bought from wmartsg on Shopee. $5.90. Can go directly to their unit at TPYHi, is there any cheap clear case that can be purchased at the shop while waiting ringke case from shopee. Thank you.
How does this work? Don't other telcos charge a fee or is this generally waived?I would port to other telco and port back later again to save this $25.
Makes sense right? Changi Travels offer many countries. In short purchase before the trip, add to the phone via QR code and then good to go. No more fiddling with pin, SIM cards etc. Nano SIMs are so tiny that is it easy to drop especially in dim lightI prefer to get e sim whenever possible so if I travel to another country where the Telco do not support e sim I can always pop in a physical sim card, and that is really useful. Definitely, but the silly compatibility issues really needs to be ironed out for mass adoption everywhere.Makes sense right? Changi Travels offer many countries. Made worse if one has fat fingers like me
. It is also environmentally friendly since no need to generate waste

That's strange. Was chatting with the Circles Life CS and they suggested running *#06# on the device. If there is EID then it will be compatible and be able to run eSIM. There is definitely EID on my Pixel 7In short, the circles Life CS will just point me to the list of supported e sim phones, and nothing they can do if not supported because it is published, either spend $25 for a physical sim or wait until they support it.
Agreed. There was an article from a journalist who ran had issues with his eSIM since he was a device reviewer. In short, telcos have yet to move with the times and learn to deal with eSIMs as designed ... Hopefully they will change ...Definitely, but the silly compatibility issues really needs to be ironed out for mass adoption everywhere.

No reason for it to take 2 weeks to process when all the info and evidence are included in the form itself lol.they already said to give them up to 2 weeks, so that is exactly what they will tell you too
