Do you have other mode of contactless payment on your phone ? Search your settings for a menu called "contactless payments', see if you need to change the settings there. When I first switched over to my 6a, it set my default payment to Grab instead of Google Pay

Thanks will check and try again tomorrow

So that's the issue. The problem with oneplus and Oppo charging technology. They are in no way the same as USB PD charging protocol. So no way you gonna charge the pixel 7 at a faster rate.

One thing many people still not very sure or aware of with the charging technology of the phones they buy.

Now in market, the Chinese phones are the one that went off rail and balls to the walls kind of fast charging technology without following USB specifications. None of their supplied cables also follow USB specifications.

So using their cables or the adapters to charge any none Chinese phones can meet up with issues such as slower charging or intermittent charging rate etc.

There are reasons why Samsung also have moved on to USB PD charging. So does the Pixel phones. Cause nowadays even some newer laptops adopted the USB PD charging.
ah damnit, so I'll need to buy a new PD charger and cable... can recommend me ?

Am using the standard charger from the old pixels and they do show "charging rapidly" on the 7 Pro ... They should still sell those at the Google sections/corners at Courts :giggle: :Do_O

I using Anker nano gan 30w charger at work for random top ups (hardly had to use it in office tho). Works just fine like the official charger which I had at home. It says charges rapidly too.

Anker has way too many chargers though - just read the description and make sure it supports PD charging.

What's the 65w and 100w ? Pixel can only charge 30w right for the fast charge?

Those chargers will fall back to what the phone can take.

100w chargers very useful because you can use to charge laptops also. 65W maybe can depending on laptop model.
Agree, just buy high wattage PD/PPS charger and you can charge as many different devices as you like.

Also if you are buying chargers above 60W, make sure your cables are also rated above 60W and up to 5A.

Anyone unsatisfied with the display color? I have two p7p and both displays feel worse than Poco m4 pro, the yellowish tint is so bad. Seeing this issue on Reddit as well, not sure if it's unit or software bug
I actually quite like the display color, the color look more pleasant than my S22+.
S22+ looks brighter and vibrant at first glance, but it has this weird look to it's color, like someone just increased the slider bar for sharpness and contrast on a TV/Monitor kind of look.

Don't just buy the bare minimum when it comes to charger. Buying a charger is not just for charging the phone only. You can charge other things also.

Those single port charger or lower wattage charger is good for travelling. Or if you daily go to work and you just need something small just to charge a few devices. Then a small charger makes more sense.

Thanks for the update! Glad I check this thread first, almost wanted to go complain already!

Recommend you guys to chat with an amazon customer service if you haven't receive any email stating your orders are qualified for the gift cards. Their customer service manager was able to add the gift card manually.

If you are an amazon sg prime member and want super fast, can order Pixel 7 cases there.
Around 2-3 business days but I am not sure if they have ringke.
