Same here, got the December update as well. Things I noticed right away was the LTE label beside the network icon at status bar is now 4G. Before I restarted my phone my battery was 65%. After restarted it became 72%.

Also under Settings > About > Battery information > Cycle count is zero for mine. Before this it was 44 when I checked with aBattery app. Not sure why.

My cycle count shows 43. May be you can try to restart the phone and check again.

Let me start the usual after update impressions.

1. 4G/5G signal strength seems to have improved
2. Battery life seems to be slightly better

Should have video boost as the feature drop additional features are universal. Open camera, switch to video, tap video settings should have video boost option.

In fact, the first time when I opened camera after the update and switched to video mode, it prompted me to explore video boost.

I got video boost even before updating to December patch. I think you need to update your pixel camera app.

My phone manufactured 18 August only yesterday then get the OTA pushed to it.

Yes, I do but don't always charge it to 100%. Most of the times charge to around 80%. May be battery cycle is counted whenever the phone is charged fully.
