Skip 8 & 9 and go directly to 10

.. CPU performance that somehow appears to be even worse than the Pixel 8's,

Download these stunning Material You-friendly Pixel 8 Pro teardown wallpapers

Pixel-8-Pro-teardown-wallpaper-1.jpg

If you’re looking for wallpapers that will complement Material You on your Pixel 8 Pro, you have tons of options. You can use one of the pre-loaded wallpapers on your phone, or you can download a third-party wallpaper pack. However, one of our favorite recent additions to the mix is a series of free internal teardown wallpapers made for the Pixel 8 Pro by SOC Creations.
You may not recognise the developer name, but they are the brainchild behind the “Digital Material You” Wear OS watch face that we featured in a round-up of some of the best Pixel Watch watch faces. Also going by /u/sujay_1423, they shared a healthy selection of Pixel 8 Pro teardown wallpapers that perfectly complement Material You and Dynamic Color theming settings. So much so, that we thought it would be rude not to share.
The core concept is heavily influenced by teardowns and X-rays of the latest flagship Pixel series. All of the appropriate board connections and flex cables are here, but this isn’t quite a 1:1 recreation of the inside of your Pixel 8 Pro. The design is an artistic interpretation of the internals of the current top-tier Google smartphone, with a special highlight on the Tensor G3 processor:

The small details make these teardown wallpapers an ideal partner for your Pixel 8 Pro. I’m personally smitten with the “Emerald Glow” colorway which I have paired with my Mint color 8 Pro. Luckily, there are 26 (yes twenty-six) pastel color variations for you to choose from. Almost the entire color spectrum is accounted for making it easier to find the perfect color to fit your device or theme. There are a number of dark-mode-friendly options, too, if you want to keep things simple.
If you want to adorn your Pixel 8 Pro with any of the completely free designs then you can find them via a Google Drive link here. Let us know what your favorite color is down in the comments section.

TL;DR
  • Pixel users are experiencing an issue with the Spotify app that triggers a boot loop on playing a song.
  • Users report being able to recover their devices by performing a force restart.
  • The issue appears to affect Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series devices, and uninstalling the Spotify app seems to be the only viable fix.

Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 series might receive a lukewarm response, as users with older Pixel models are running into some serious issues in the days leading up to the launch. We recently highlighted an issue affecting Pixel 6 series devices that bricks some phones while performing a factory reset. Now, users with newer models are facing a similar problem when using the Spotify app.

User reports on the GooglePixel subreddit state that playing a song on Spotify triggers a boot loop on some Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series devices. Fortunately, unlike the factory reset issue affecting Pixel 6 devices, users are able to recover their devices by performing a force restart using the power and volume buttons.
Users say turning off notifications and clearing the cache for the Spotify app seems to resolve the issue. However, this does not work on all affected devices and, in some cases, it only provides momentary relief. Currently, uninstalling the Spotify app appears to be the only viable fix.

It’s difficult to ascertain the underlying cause at the moment, but it could be related to the Spotify app update that started rolling out to users on July 2. We’ve reached out to Spotify and Google, and we’ll let you know as soon as we have more details. In the meantime, we recommend uninstalling the Spotify app if you encounter this issue on your Pixel device.

Does it get resolved with a restart?
No le, need to send in for replacement, hearsay is static electricity and poor worksmanship, hope P8P no issue.

Dunno is placebo effect or not, didn't manage to send phone in for camera module replacement but the lens not auto-focusing has been getting better with the patches.
