I wouldn't say that charging is slow on Pixel 8. It's just not super fast like other Android phones. iPhones don't charge super fast too.

Personally, I charge overnight. So charging speed is a non issue for me.

Thanks for the reply. Actually I am also okay with charging speed but like my z fold 3 charge quite quickly with the Samsung charger.

Just wanted to get a sense of users review since all I have been reading are like the online articles etc

Phone is alot smaller than I expected despite being only 0.1 inch smaller than the P7. Its not only shorter but also a bit slimmer. Reminds me of the P5 or iPhone SE, but larger. Ergonomics and handling is really nice though, but I cant imagine google making the phone any smaller than it is already. No issues with heat so far, I think Android 14 really fixed most of those issues

After 1 week, my oleophobic coating has worn off a little - 2 small water-stain like spots can be seen near the fingerprint sensor.

Anyone having the same issue?

Warranty: well, I dented my phone in an unplanned drop test, so that might void the warranty..? I can swop my phone at a later stage though.

I got mine late, and found out that my Singtel SIM card is not supported by Pixel 8 Pro like some folks previously say. Had to go to Singtel to physically change to a 3-series number SIM card. Then it works.

You mean the last 4 digits of the SIM card? How do we physical check.

It's so grippy that it feels kinda....niam niam after a few days. Don't really like the feel. Lol I like the feel when it's brand new though.

Wipe cache not available in Pixel right?

i don't recall Google Pixel has this option in recovery mode.

I read that no longer there since Android 9 or 10, at least for the stock recovery.
