Easiest option is to try returning to Shoppee lo on reasons that suspected display defect. But then have to camp for vouchers to re-buy again coz they don't do exchange, setup and everything.. etc

Normal use can see on light backgrounds but not deal breaker, like you say.. the issue persists most in the mind .. hahah

Can return to shopee even after breaking the security seal and opening the set?

I think even shopee mall don't allow that. They will straight away refer you to after sales service/CDTI.

hmmm.. not sure about it though. haven't tried doing that yet, still on the fence on what i should do next since quite leceh

Maybe it's just a cheaper screen they use for 8a.

Last year after minusing off vouchers and selling off the freebies on launch day, I effectively paid less than $400 for the 7a and that was real value for money.

Very poor launch day offers for the 8a this year. Top up a bit for the 8.

Real value is the pixel 6a, that some bros here and myself got for $350 on shopee 1111 sales and also black Friday in 2022. I got one for my mum and one for myself. No need to sell any freebies.

Hello all,

I just noticed the Pixel 8a screen when viewed at slightly tilted angles, seems to display alternating bands of 'blue' and 'yellowish' tinge which changes with viewing angles, especially obvious on white backgrounds. Is this normal for pixel phone displays? or is my unit's display faulty?

Below GIF shows actual screen tinge (colors not due to photo artifact). white backgrd emulated from HERE

Tested on Iphone which doesn't seem to have this issue.

Yes some slight green and blue tint. I didnt send it down!
