Couldnt agree more....tested Tenosr G2 , SD Gen 1 now SD Gen 2 with in a period of 3 month lately.
The difference literally can be felt.

Back in the days ...the so call pixel experience still a thing when all cpu not fast and with all those bloat ware around making ur phone sluggish. But now, even with some bloatware...all these latest SD and 12 gb ram just smash through it like u dont know its in your phone. They really need to stop using this pixel experence as a selling point.

Apart from the prefect screen ratio factor, always brilliant camera and maybe google speech typing....It's just so hard to hoot this fold, even the Find N2 that is last year seems more attractive to me.

Below tested and tried personally feedback. Sure got some issue...just see how one can manage it.

P2 = Screen freeze frequently when gaming.
P3 = Ok, but considered slow at that time among the peer launch
P4 = Skip due to the plastic look and thick top and bottom bezel
P5 = UK Clove version. Solid, No issue.
P6P = import from USA via bigdaddy when not launch in Singapore = Signal Problem every hour or so.. practically unsable
P6 = Japan version is ok. No signal issue.
P7P = Much Stable, but still occur 2 - 3 time a day showing no signal, need to on off plane mode.

Haiz, out of so many pixel...only the first launch Pixel aka P1 most satisfying. Break through camera at that time , solid build.

旧爱还是最美 haha....
Compared to your experience, mine is so boring :ROFLMAO:

Pixel 4a - no issue
Pixel 6a - no issue
Pixel 7 - no issue

Pixel 1 also had giant bezels (the reason you skipped Pixel 4).. but I guess consumers were more forgiving then.. and the camera was really revolutionary then. The pixel camera now on the other hand….. isn’t exactly leaps and bounds above competitors anymore.

Yeah at that time p4, almost all peers had no bezel already.

Side track abit about camera ...

Speaking of camera and coming from a leisure photographer. By right i would embrace a larger senor in camera phone any time for obvious reason.....but i dont know why now that it's bigger . Since p6, i find most photo overexpose in some way that i need to drop 0.25 -0.5 stop in exposure or tone down the highlight abit. At time

This is not just refering to pixel6 and 7 ....xiaomi, samsung and all those that uses larges sensor size and usually in flagship model.

Example 1) test 1 month s23 ultra than switch to current s23...i find the photo more balance and tone down.

Example 2) My kids, 1 using p6a and the other using p7. I review their photo...also same thing p7 photo are generally brighter but not in a good or eye pleasing way to my eyes where else p6a so much better. But of coz low light or indoor...p7 less grainy.

Any photographer enthusiastic feel the same about using larger senor or just me.
