Can see few posters here bought from Carousell all facing the same issues of the Fold not arriving even when promised by the seller, not even getting refunded when the device don't arrive as promised.

I private messaged some1 here just to find out more of the seller, was accused of spreading fear (to him?) .

Which is why this forum is here so that all can buyer beware and help each other.

Hey guys.. getting my pixel fold tmr from new York after trying to order from Google store US with VPN twice but delivery states earliest will be mid August. So last week I saw they have ready stock at Google store in brooklyn so I ask a friend who stays there to buy for me then ask another friend who happened to be in NY to fly back the phone to me. I think I approached the app***4u guy on carousell and he asked for full payment. Abit Sus but anyway i feel seller should not have over promised the delivery date esp with such big orders. Now in US, delivery date is around mid August to end of August. Will let you guys know once I get the phone and set it up and running.

Got my pixel this morning. As compared to the other two foldables I have : Xiaomi fold 2 and Z fold 4, I feel the pixel fold is very similar to oppo find n2. Hinge is quite sturdy and have a " snug fit" when you close it. For overall form factor, I would prefer the Xiaomi fold 2. When it's folded, it feels like a normal fold and unfolded, it's like an ipad mini. But then again, to each of its own. But overall, pixel fold is a good phone with stock android. If you really like the pixel form factor, this phone is a no brainer. Will test out the pixel fold in the coming days and see how it goes. Ps, I will probably trade in my fold 4 for the flip 5 cause the fold 5 is really a disappointment.

Its good to have friends round the globe or in the right country at the right time. My colleague is currently in japan for a business trip, he will be helping me source for a set there. Unfortunately Google Japan only retails the Pixel Fold in 256gb and all japanese phones cannot switch off the shutter sound. I sure hope he is able to get one for me.

I have been using the Pixel Fold for almost a week now. Loving it. And yes, the battery life isn't good. It needs some time for the battery adaptive algorithm to kick in. I will report back if there is indeed any improvement after 2 weeks of usage...battery life should stabilize thereafter. Apart from that, third-party apps like Instagram, FB and many other similar apps built for phone UI will need to work on a new interface. I've read that Google has begin to push for app developers to make their apps more tablet and pixel fold friendly and those who did will have their app ranked higher (which will attract more eyeballs) in the Playstore. Hopefully this will incentivise the app developers to create more fold and tablet-friendly apps. We all just need to wait.

yeah....i wanted to PO from another carousell seller who i got my tablet from at that time, but he told me not to order cos at that time google were facing severe delays and the ETA given by google was october. dunno why i trusted this apple4you when he said end july can get....he said he getting from supplier so got stock

Yes you're right. In fact, I do agree that its best to find someone to help you get from overseas. The overall import charges and tax is too hefty to bear if you decide to engage a third party to bring it in. I think mobile hardware is taking in preorders for pixel fold from Japan. But paying 28xx for a 256gb is really too expensive.
