Yes you're right. In fact, I do agree that its best to find someone to help you get from overseas. The overall import charges and tax is too hefty to bear if you decide to engage a third party to bring it in. I think mobile hardware is taking in preorders for pixel fold from Japan. But paying 28xx for a 256gb is really too expensive.

The earlier batches from mobile hardware was cheaper but at least it's reliable.

Sharing some thoughts, as mentioned by fellow Pixel Fold owners, setup phone was just slightly warm. It's much cooler than the Zenfone 10 I got recently while setting up.

The phone feels quite big overall to me. Camera seems not bad. Will monitor a few days and share more thoughts of it again.

Not sure whose was it haha. I was there later in the evening after I finished my work. Tat time was 2xxx but now due to supplier increased price now is 1 or 2 hundred bucks more. But do take note, theirs is Japan Set. Not US set.

One thing to note is that the battery was just average in the initial part. My set is now a week old and the battery life has been improving significantly though it cannot beat the Snapdragon 8 gen 2. If you opt for android 14 beta program (now beta 4), battery life is even better and runs cool. Or just wait for the official release of Android 14 which is imminent.
