hey all, just want to check with owners of a Pixel XL (don't know if this applies to the Pixel), but do your videos all turn out to be not very sharp?
i am taking videos at 1080p at 60fps (with stabilisation on) but all the videos just seem very slightly blur even if i choose a spot for it to focus upon.

Same settings here on a regular Pixel and I'm noticing the same too. The video does not seem as clear as I thought it would be.

I'm using Orzly as some of the members recommended here:

No halos and covers whole screen, close to edge. Something to take note:
1) I has a front black, so you wont see the original grey front of the screen
2) Fitting is good, however, you can see dot matrix on the screen when screen is off under certain angle of light
3) Overall contrast is reduced because of higher reflectivity and I believe the glass isn't touching the screen
4) Oleophobic-ness is bollocks

Anyways..

quite sad though. pictures are great, i'm questionable about night shots, then again i am not a photography pro but something just seems off about my night photos

Same here, pictures are really sharp but videos are not. In fact, the focus seems to shift and go blur sometimes while taking videos.

I was looking at the Details of the video through Google Photos and it seems that the video was taken using 2.1 megapixels only?

Maybe try downloading another camera app from the Playstore to take videos?

Oh, viewing on Google Photos. It sometimes doesn't load the best resolution available, try to see if you can choose a better quality.

Anyone can confirm either Singtel, Starhub or M1 NFC Sim works with the Google Pixel? Am very keen to know before getting it as I depend on this setup extensively and can't do without the NFC Sim not working for my daily transport.

Choose 4k for better quailty. I'm using 4k by default and I'm okay with the result..

didn't do 4K recording cause i do not have any other device (TV or PC) that can view 4K.

about the fps i've also been seeing that people are resorting to 30fps instead.

Incorrect mindset. With 4k you got more pixels and details to deal with, so regardless if you are just interested in viewing in 1080p, recording 4k is still better. Just use video editor to convert to 60fps.

Simple stuff really if just want to convert to 60fps, just open and re-save with 60fps. I have and use Cyberlink PowerDirector in my N6P.
