I recommend just whack from AliExpress.

I whacked clear TPU slim case from ebay, US$1.95 nia and free shipping :p

yes cable get from there as it's usb-c compliance. Alot of lousy cable out there, better get one that is type-c compliance.

What does USB-C compliance entail? I've seen microUSB to type C convertors, thinking of buying 1 for when there are only microUSB cables around, are these safe to use?

for those who are buying from lazada/qoo10 or shopee two things to take note

1. Make sure it's purchased from google play store. Else your repair will be an issue, you may not be able to send it directly to google.
2. And for those who wish to unlock bootloader, get google store version . You can do it for verizon version now but it may be blocked in the future (November patch). Current batch should be able to be unlocked.
Thanks for the advise but how do we know if it's from Google play store n can be send directly to google for repair?

You can click here for a brief explanation. Basically a cable that has the correct resistor in place for USB-C compliance will prevent your phone from frying your charger or phone. There are more technical details on Benson Leung's G+ account if you want to read up.

tl;dr don't anyhow buy cables if you don't want to fry your usb port or phone.

Weee. Appreciate the mention.

Although I never personally buy from shawniiex before, but I have the same cable and also did my own test. The cable definitely compliant. :D Don't risk your precious phone with crappy cheapo cables. Your first charge might be your last charge when you blow up your phone and adapter.

Thru the offical shoppee link (they made a post just for Google Pixel) , they clarified that it is a RoW set

if happened to be not true, since they are holding the money instead of the seller should be able to ask for refund directly ba.

Anyway prices probabaly subsidised by shopee for marketing purposes for the first couple of sets.
When restock should be at least 1600

yup judgging by the band is same as US as pointed by one of the bro here. But then the seller said rest of the world....
Sometimes these shopee sellers anyhow copy and paste the specs one. They always list wrong specs for those phones that got different specs for different regions.
