How's battery life on the regular pixel? I'm using the pixel xl and find it abit big.

Haven't depleted my battery yet, but so far, unplug in the morning around 7am, and by the time I'm in bed at 10-11pm, still have about 30%. SOT 2+hours at that point. Mostly connected to wifi.

Why Pixel XL so expensive :3
Export sets to Singapore even more jialat.

Just bought second hand s7 edge yesterday but not fond of those samsung softwares and apps. Selfie also a bit distorted when doing chin up views.

This TGSP is almost perfect, the edges flow nicely into the sides of the screen surface. However the black of the TGSP is not similar to the pixel screen black.

Advice needed

Hi guys,

I need some advice. Got a friend in Australia to help me buy the Pixel XL from JB HiFi & I was just wondering if I should get her to open the box and test the phone to see if everything is working? Or should I just pray and trust that there is nothing wrong and have my own unboxing? My friend is not really into phones so I'm also not sure if she knows what to look for when she powers it on...

I recently bought the Pixel 32GB from SmartCell Mobile during the Lazada sale but when I got it, I found out that the left side of the camera lens had some issues which resulted in every photo taken having a double image at the left edge. I sent it back to Lazada for a refund. So this incident got me on the edge and uncertain if the unit my friend bought is without any issue...

Thanks for your input... =P

very simple.

do you trust the shop or friend more?

if you trust the shop, don't open first.

if you trust your friend, open and test it.

From JB Hi Fi Warranty,

Consumer Guarantees, Warranties, & Refunds

...If you believe that a product that you have purchased from a JB Hi-Fi store or website is faulty please see JB Hi-Fi’s “Refunds & Warranties, Understanding Your Rights” Brochure, which sets out the minimum remedies that JB Hi-Fi will provide to you if you buy a faulty product from JB Hi-Fi. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law may extend beyond these time periods....

A bit confused about power banks and chargers suitable for Pixel - so can we just use any old power bank / charger as long as have a 'certified' USB-C cable?

What is this USB-PD thing about? *sorry noob

Get the more reputables one like Anker/Aukey. Best if they are equipped with QC 3.0

Yes, can just use old power banks/charger. The main caveat here is whether you will need fast charge. If you will need fast charge, you will need to get a charger/power bank that can output the same current and amps as original charger. And yes, as mentioned, Pixel does not support/use/utilise Qualcomm Quick Charge, because it does not follow USB C PD standard. Pixel follows USB C PD 2.0.

In 5V mode, it can draw up to 3A for a max wattage of 5V * 3A = 15W (Pixel).
In 9V mode, it can draw up to 9V * 2A = 18W (Pixel XL)
