Is there a difference between US set and Int set as far as SG is concerned?
I'd really like to have the max 4G+ speed. Thanks!

mobile network is not about speed, it's the latency that counts. Speed wise even 3g is more than enough

has anyone considered buying from Handtec (UK)? i see Clove UK being mentioned but not Handtec.

is there any particular reason why no one is buying from Handtec? it is more expensive than Clove but seems cheaper than most import resellers here. is it not reliable or something?

For 128GB Pixel (without VAT):
Handtec: 699 pounds ~1236.53 SGD. 1 year warranty.
Clove: 582.5 pounds ~1030.45 SGD. 2 years warranty. but zero availability up till now.

even with GST and delivery fee, about the same price as local resellers. plus local resellers got no warranty? i am seriously considering buying from Handtec. am i missing anything?

Clove has reportedly better aftersales customer service, compared to other sellers.

That said, can also get from Unlocked Mobiles they also offer 24months, but also slightly higher price than Clove, but reported to have not as good aftersales service compared to Clove..

looks like a good deal! better than Handtec.

this warranty is provided by Google? it says manufacturer's warranty.

in what cases will i need aftersales service? when i try to get their help in the returns process to manufacturer or something?

btw, if they don't include the GST charge when i try to check out, does that mean i won't incur any GST? or can they still charge me afterwards?

GST isn't their problem, so they won't charge you. But you're supposed to pay GST in Singapore, and likely the courier will have to collect from you if the value was properly reported.

What's a local Singapore set? It doesn't exist for Google Pixel phones.

Considering all options, I think unlocked-mobiles seem to be cheapest. About SGD1210 for Pixel 128 with Fedex priority and GST factored in.
What do ya guys think?

Second comes TechBug, but if you add the shipping, GST and CC charges, its much higher liao.. Unless U get a Malaysian to bring in for you (~1190 for all the troubles).

So.. anyone ordered from unlocked-mobiles yet? :p

Hey guys! I'm a happy XL owner that I bought from Mobyshop. I'd like my girlfriend to have a Pixel so that she doesn't waste money on an iPhone, but I wanted to ask you about repair. Is there a store in Singapore that repairs Pixel ? If she drops it for example. I don't think this is covered by warranty?
I admit I bought mine without thinking about all this but she doesn't have unlimited money and I wouldn't want her to spend so much for a non fixable device.
