Seems like this flag was removed and this new feature is now by default, without an option to disable it.

I can still see the flags.. but disabling them has no effect no matter how many times I restart Chrome. I also tried restarting the whole phone.. The tab groups are irritating to the max. Harder to use one handed and more steps needed to access the tabs.

Screen-on time disappears from Settings menu in Android 12 Beta 1

Hope google to bring it back in beta 2
