Bought a 4k+ gaming rig from them 2 mth ago. Initially there was a random bsod problem. Tech support is very helpful to help troubleshoot. They came down couple of time over nxt few weeks. End up it's the Corsair Force 3 SSD problem. They voluntary replace it with OCZ Vertex 3 after more then a mth from delivery (while i still wanted to test the Corsair longer).

System work perfectly fine since then. The price isn't expensive becoz you can't compare them with SLS DIY shop. The after sales svcs so far, for me is excellent. On the contrary, look somewhere else if you do not need any technical support and lowest price is your primary concern.

is 4k what you paid for your rig listed at your profile? if it is :s22: but yes from what you say their service is pretty good, fortran does that as well :)

Haha guys...all component prices are indicated in their website. I don't really have time nor knowledge to troubleshoot when things goes wrong so DIY from SLS wasn't my first choice. I have read much about Fortran but i guess it won't be possible for him to response to problems within 1-2 work days so end up with GooGoo.

For other faulty components services, you can refer to their website. Like i say earlier...look else where if you do not need such services. But if you do...then my experience with them is a pleasant one...In the end...still quite abit cheaper then Ailenware...:)

Lol.. I think u should buy your own parts and learn to fix by yourself will be the most cheapest and the most safe way to do.

If u are depending on shops than i will wish u luck i have very bad exp with any computer shop i go. i rather grab the parts and slowly fix it up. As u never never know if they are fixing old parts in to your computer anot and the worse that can happen is their charges is way too high.. my com is listed at my windows i don't spend more than 1 k to get it done... haha

Think about it:):)

Guys...thanks for the advise. The price include os, keyboard, heatsink, 3 yrs warranty etc which i did not include in my profile. Due to work and family commitment, i no longer have the time to diy/read up/hands on assy /troubleshoot. I am aware...like pc maker, online assembler prices are higher.

Just like maid...if you don't have time to do all the washing and cleaning, you had to pay someone else to do it. Since ts asked about GooGoo, i assume, like me, he needed after sale services...If not then i agree with everyone here, it will be much better to get the parts from sls or Fortain and diy himself. :)

Even with all these, the price is way too high...

They charge 7% GST and 10% Service Charge is it?

LOL! no choice...idiot mus admit idiot...at least an honest idiot...:D:s13:

Wah don't like that say yourself la bro.. Hmm you've over spent and got ripped off, thats the bad thing but atleast you got the best options at the ripped off prices. Better than people paying for elephants and get donkeys. Like what happened to me 4 years ago. Ask my dad buy me a compaq comp at 1.7K. Last time don't know then in the end get "cheated". Some E4500 processor and nvidia 7300LE card. Noted the "LE" - LOWEST EDITION. GG

4K is simply too expensive for that specs

i'm getting a computer from them, already ordered but still waiting for the video cards

haf 932 advanced
i7 2600k 3.4ghz
asus maximus iv extreme-z mobo
2 x gigabyte gtx 580 super overclocked
corsair 4x4gb vengeance 1600mhz
corsair h100 cpu cooler
corsair ax1200w psu 80+ gold
2 x ocz vertex 3 240gb
lg dvdrw drive
win7 ultimate

cost is around $5.5K

- all boxes, literature, & accessories to be delivered as well

can i get cheaper by doing it myself? - yes, by at least $500++

can i do it myself? - yes, 1st computer i assembled on my own was when i was in primary school

do i want to do it myself? - no time and i don't want to get hassled in sim lim... no car as well so i would probably spend $80 on multiple trips to sim lim...

so is spending $500++ more worth it? - to be advised.. i'm waiting for the delivery date as they needed a longer lead time to get the gtx580 SOCs... but if all goes smoothly then sure why not? the only thing they couldn't get for me was the g1.sniper2 or the z68x-ud7-b3
