Users in Singapore choose how much they want to invest additionally per Grab transaction. The money is invested into fixed income funds offered by Fullerton Fund Management and UOB Asset Management.

So they allow you to invest everytime you make an transanction...

Fees charged by managers of the underlying funds will be reflected in the user's in-app portfolio performance; these fees will work out to less than 0.45 per cent per annum. Grab takes a cut of the fund fees.

My question here is - how are fees calculated? Flat fee of 0.45 per cent per annum? But I cannot comprehend the logistics nightmare of constantly informing the fund manager, for today, Grab will buy into 'X' amount of this fund. and Grab will redeem 'Y' amount?

Then Grab better have a god damn good automated system to reconcile what everyone contributed and cashed out

If it does not take enough risk, the return can’t justify the fee, especially in Singapore market.

There is too much money in Singapore to chase so little risk-averse return.

Having your money trap in the stupid wallet is just plain silly.
They always like to change their T&Cs so the $ will not leave their ecosystem easily.
Also why the earth would u want to put $ into a losing money entity?

Taking unnecessary risk does not mean it will produce extra returns. Read Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM).

Haha... based on all the people who have updated their progress, everyone who touched this has lost money so far...

only someone weird enough to put lots of excess cash into grab wallet then maybe want to use grabinvest? But Grabinvest is a poor platform for investment, its not even like yu'erbao, but invest into real funds like this Fullerton fund that eats up lots of fees from customers.

If you want to invest into unit trust/mutal funds, do yourself or via better robos than this half-baked platform

Yu’er bao works because interest rate is high in China, like more than 2% per year almost risk-free.

Singapore risk-free interest rate is close to 0.

Who talks about unnecessary risk?

Unless you enjoy negative return, risk has to be taken

Clearly u do not understand so don't suggest adding risks. There are different type of risks.
