So far those who tried to put GPMC as recurring charge card for monthly deduction of other stuff seem to have failed. Eg I tried for AIA vitality it doesn’t trigger the following month’s auto charge. I didn’t try on prudential yet..maybe those who did can advise. Else I may do a test myself this month by changing card details to GPMC for my prud monthly premiums

Thanks! From what I know, only Prudential accepts Credit Cards for monthly premiums, other insurance companies like AIA and Aviva only accept Bank Giro after the first year. My friend from AXA said that AXA policies allow GrabPay to pay monthly premiums but not Bank credit cards. Y’all can verify with your AXA agents to see if it’s true.

Actually I m curious if the grabpay card is allowed for recurring payment like giro, how much do u set for auto topup? If a txn is higher than the set topup, would it topup multiple times automatically to make the giro deduction?

Recurring GIRO arrangement and recurring charge to credit card is different thing...

Not possible, this card is not from the list of major banks in their inclusion

Thanks! My Prudential agent concurred with your statement, that only major banks are accepted. Grab is not part of it, so as to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing regulations.

Okok let’s say different. Still how about those amounts which are not pre-determined for recurring charge to credit card? How do u set for grabpay auto topup?

I’ve tried using GPMC for AIA Vitality. It went through and deduct one month fee ($8) in advance for verification.

I think I misunderstood this question. From what I know, the auto top up should only happen once when it falls below the threshold u had set. Not sure if it will automatically top up again if the topped up amount is below the threshold set.
