As long as you send the payment before the GIRO due date it's fine, IRAS will cancel the GIRO deduction. If you kena double deducted you can write in and ask for a refund.

Income tax deduction by GRIO is 6th of each month.

If you do payment by other means 2 weeks before the 6th, ie. around 20th of the previous month, and if payment is in full, there will be no GIRO deduction on the 6th of the following month.

Eg. your income tax is $500. You choose to use AXS to pay up $450 on the 20 Sep, and on the 6 Oct, the remaining $50 will be deducted by GIRO.

Can anyone advise if there is any changes to grabpay transaction limit, grab wallet and axs?

I tried to topup grab wallet using either amex or UOB amex, bearing in mind of the limit per day of 5K. 1st top was fine. The next following day, it doesn't allow me to top up to the limit so I have to make multiple top ups but still limited.

Next using axs to pay for income insurance using grabpay credit card. 1st txn up to 5k was successful. Next following day prohibited so change to 1st $500 limit was successfully. But subsequent multiple of $500 was declined. Grab wallet still have ample balance. I tried both debit/credit.. didn't work.

All well within the limits u mentioned. Txn made by GPMC so far hasnt exceeded monthly limit of $10k in a month and txn carried out in following days. But AXS kept declining my subsequent txn if $500 amount in the following 24hrs. Any idea?

I stated in my previous post in which I used 20th of the month as a guideline becos this is the latest I have ever attempted payment. Any later, I have no idea if it can make it before the GIRO activation.

Personally, 20th of the month is a comfortable deadline I set for myself, to take into account of the weekends and public holidays, if any ....
