I stated in my previous post in which I used 20th of the month as a guideline becos this is the latest I have ever attempted payment. Any later, I have no idea if it can make it before the GIRO activation.

Personally, 20th of the month is a comfortable deadline I set for myself, to take into account of the weekends and public holidays, if any ....

I use GPMC to pay for income tax before the GIRO deduction. I've tried on 28th and 30th before (on a month with 31 days) and no GIRO deduction occurred. However this month I was a little late and paid on 1st Sept, but GIRO deduction still occurred on 6th Sept. I guess to be safe, make payment 2-3 days before the end of the previous month?

SP app is giving the discounts, not capitastar app.

I am Passion card member, conversion is 4500 Cap star pts for $5 e-voucher. Max of 2 redemptions a month per Capitastar member .....

I usually redeem Grab pts to get Cap star pts, and send the 5000 Star pts to family members to make use of the 4500 Star pts per $5 e-voucher per month .... I never bother about the SP app thingy though....

When you redeem Grab rewards, the 5000 star pts is parked under "Points > My Rewards > Active rewards"

Then when you choose "use now", you got option to send to any Capstar member, email or mobile number ....
