I just tried to pay using my grabpay card at Cathay Cineplex but was rejected. I double check I got sufficient amount inside. Anyone knows what’s the issue?

I paid my insurance bills via m-AXS using my GrabPay MasterCard last month (yap NO Grab Points awarded + NO contribution in terms of number of transactions AND amount spent towards the monthly Grab Challenge) and suddenly this month my Challenge inflated to "top up $2100, spend $2000" - I don't intend to spend this amount. Can anyone in the know advise if I should accept the Challenge and then not meet the requirement so that they will taper down the requirements for me in the coming months' Challenge (they get the hint) or should I just ignore and not accept the Challenge at all (they just thought I am not aware / miss out on the Challenge and will persist in their errors in the coming months) ?

I’m not sure if that will work.

What matters is your spending, eligible or not.

Whether you accept the challenge is not important.
