If it takes too much effort for you to meet the spending requirement, then this card may be unsuitable for you.

Choose a card that meets your lifestyle, spending pattern, etc ....

Thanks for responding. In fact, I am well aware that UOB One does not fit my needs and I do not use it.
Amex True Cashback / UOB Absolute + Grabpay Mastercard is a better option for me.

I only shared why UOB One does not fit because @iduncheckmail suggested I use it since I mentioned earlier I spend ~SGD 2,000 a month. In my combi, failing to achieve SGD 2k spent means I lose out on the challenge for that 1 month but if that happens for UOB One, my cashback will drop a tier for an equivalent of 3 months.

Saw an earlier post about using Grabpay Wallet in Malaysia?
It's possible to pay for your grab ride and food and earned points out of it. Even get points for tipping (which we know you don't get point for that here). But there is a 2% FX fee which is still worth it.

Payment by Grabpay QR is not possible. Tried it before. Short of cash/lazy change i just use self pick up, use self pick up discount and earned points at the same time. Hope that helps

I also encounter b4 as well in

I encounter this b4 too and i do topup b4 payment but always failed transaction.
So far my experience has been smooth, no failed transactions. I tap the physical card, not using phone. Must be embarrassing when the card keeps getting rejected at the cashier.

Its the Nets terminals that are having problems with the failed Grabpay transactions. Probably some software bugs that they havent fixed.

Other credit card terminals seem ok.

Hi, would like to ask the pros here.
I've been using my uob amex card to top up grabwallet across a few different accounts. Suddenly card cannot be added, and where there are cards added to accounts, it says cannot top up due to security reasons. Anyone knows why?

Grab treat topup to too many different accounts using same card as suspicious activity

why don't you just try? just try calling? that's the next best alternative right? just throw the sink at it

Can grab do an auto top up up to the purchase price if balance is insufficient to pay for a purchase ? E.g item is $75 but my wallet only has $20. At point of purchase, can it auto top up the deficit in the backend and deduct the payment within the same transaction without me doing a manual top up ? Something like auto debit in PayLah!

not referring to auto top up with balance criteria.

Not exactly sure the specific circumstances you are referring to.

but for those where the QR code you scanned is uniquely generated for a specific price you have to pay, if there’s insufficient money, they will ask u to top up, and the difference to be top up will be pre-filled

There's no such feature. You will face issue checking out or paying and you'll get rejection. Need to top up b4 use
