someone mentioned earlier apparently can non work on non samsung phone?

They are talking about Tap and Pay using the grab app itself. Nobody say this card can be added to gpay. Tap and Pay work on all android phones including Samsung, I have used before.

exactly, and that prompted me to give it a try since only waste a few mins to get a definitive answer so why not. but my testing results ended up failed on all 3 phones (samsung, oneplus and xiaomi).

and then after some googling... found this faq article... what a bummer. my dream for a convenient life of 1 phone (no more wallet, no cards) and 1 app to rule them all is now shattered

Feels like the same type of fee other cc charges but is 2% instead of 3ish% or so

yes but then worse of than Youtrip or Revolut (which can be topped up using gpmc to indirectly get 1.7%) with no forex fees, Amaze card which u can earn the linked credit card points/rebate+1% Amaze rebate and no forex fees also.
