I feel the exclusions are at least lesser as compared to Mastercard and Visa.1.7% across the purchases but got some exclusion, u may go to the website to read
For sure, just that for most people why bother keeping the Amex TCB anymore which was meant for the Grab top up use case.I feel the exclusions are at least lesser as compared to Mastercard and Visa.
Yah lor, I don’t know now TCB can use for what le, heng I haven’t cancel my UOB AMEX at least 1.7% highest in market, or Citicashback+ also higher at 1.6%. Maybe time to cancel this TCB le… sigh

Yup those are the NETS enabled QR code. In fact most hawker accept this along with ShopBack and Fave. Seldom it is Grab only QR.some hawker centres only have qr codes... but their qr codes can accept amex... unless their qr code also accepts liquidpay... then can use any credit cards...![]()

I will still keep AMEX TCB as long as I can waive the annual fees. Their app offers are sometimes quite good. Also good for telco bill payments which are excluded from cashback/points on many other Visa/MC cards. For sure, just that for most people why bother keeping the Amex TCB anymore which was meant for the Grab top up use case.

Going to make my Grabpay account $0 next month since there is no point in using Grabpay anymore. More beneficial to charge directly to credit card if I need grabfood or grabcar.
Guess can delete the Grab app after 4 April 2023.
- Ride hailing more costly than competition
Gojek and Ryde more costly most of the time.Guess can delete the Grab app after 4 April 2023.

Not sure which area you're in cause it could be area dependent, but CDG (and Tada) have been consistently cheaper in recent months for my use case.Gojek and Ryde more costly most of the time.
Same here for me. Have been using these 2 instead. Office is in town area and staying in North-East zone of SG.Not sure which area you're in cause it could be area dependent, but CDG (and Tada) have been consistently cheaper in recent months for my use case.
I’m trying to say Grab ride is not anymore expensive than the rest. I also take taxis via Zig mostly nowadays than via PHV.Not sure which area you're in cause it could be area dependent, but CDG (and Tada) have been consistently cheaper in recent months for my use case.
Yeah. I agree with this. Don’t let Grab hold onto your cash in the wallet as well.there are many better cashback cards out there with way less hassle of having to top up the wallet, and not having it work for selected merchants. If one can avoid using GPMC just for the 1.5%, better to do so.
For me it's CBD to West/North West and observed similar pricing. CDG tend to always have a cab driver who would accept the ride too.Same here for me. Have been using these 2 instead. Office is in town area and staying in North-East zone of SG.
