It works for me since day 1. Your grab wallet needs to have sufficient fund for virtual card to function normally.
I pay phone bills through respective telco apps using GPMC(can get grab points)
Town council through AXS using GPMC(grab points not awarded)

Hi. Thanks. I tried to pay another bill in axs and it went through now. Good to know it is working. I tried previously to pay credit card bill but it was not accepted. So I guess it is not treated as a debit card. From what I can gather from the pages of reading in this forum, can use this card to fund youtrip. Then can use the physical card to do offline purchases. So in that sense don't need to wait for the physical gpmc card.

Thanks. Ya, not easy reading through so many pages and trying to find out the hype about this card, hence the mis interpretation. I guess the best thing about this is that topup qualifies rebates from a few credit cards, and the virtual card opens up the possibilities of using grabpay more so that funding of grab pay makes sense.

Should be ok but try make payment about 2 weeks earlier for the payment to be processed to avoid giro being triggered.

Back to your question. U don't have to inform your agent if you are pre-paying by say AXS instead of Giro. Advisable to pre-pay more than 2 weeks before your due date so that your giro will not be activated.

Failed payment due to insufficient funds they charge 10 dollar. Failed payment due to limit no charge. (UOB)

Better to consult with your agent. Monthly and annual premium price is different.

Late to this Grabpay game. I just set up the Grabpay virtual card and automatically asked if I want to be notified of the availability of the physical card. I just went ahead since there is so much hype here. Still reading what the gpmc can do and what advantages it has over other credit cards, so sorry for asking some basic questions:
1) is the virtual gpmc treated like a debit card in other platforms like retail terminals and AXS?
2)roughly how long will the gp c be mailed to you after submitting interest? I read it is random and they only choose 300 so far.
3) have any bro use the physical gpmc card to topup transport cards in the GTM machine?
4)I'm not prompted to get my info via singpass after sign up. Meaning I will not be selected?

for AIA monthly, advance payment is possible via AXS. it will not trigger GIRO as long as it is made 7 days prior to the typical deduction date.

though my due date is 5th monthly, my GIRO takes place ard 20th but i would usually pay by 10th monthly which stops the GIRO deduction.
