Not much point, since you get 0 grab points for cardup.

Well, expected response from customer service though I must say the person was polite. Ask me to log out, uninstall app, restart phone, then install app and log in again. wait for 15mins for server to refresh. if it doesnt work, raise the technical support request to Grab through help centre.

Didn't work as expected so I raise the technical support request as suggested. Waiting for people to return to work and take a look into my issue tomorrow i suppose.

One more thing I discovered
2) Click the <Setting> in the top right corner, and then click on your Grabpay Card.
When you select the option "Learn about your GrabPay Card" >
You will go to Grab Pay webpage
" Say Hello to your GrabPay Card"
Click the Green Arrow/Activate

There is No grab points award for payment to cardup even though cardup accepts gpmc, besides there is an admin 2.6% charge by cardup, so net gain is the rebate from UOB minus the 2.6%

it is a well know fact that certain transactions made on sites like cardup youtrip revolut dash using gmpc doesn't earn grab rewards points. what I'm saying is that one can earn rebates from cc be topping up gpmc then using on these sites that's all. you want to use on cardup or youtrip or where is your decision.

all these tips and methods are discussed till death in the gmpc telegram group.

MCC is determined by merchant and card association so its between Grab and Mastercard. Maybank didn't do anything, your first sentence is already wrong.

Whichever one is the culprit grab/MC/mbff, luckily I just found out so I need to charge more to mbff to hit min spend before 31dec, else even the 1st grab topup before the nerf I cannot get the rebate
