Send them the evidence? I believe they will play back and say its per user only. Suck thumb then

Lol they already have full access to my rewards points details and transactions according to what they investigated. Nvm shall write off this 8% cash back as grab ‘fraud’ 😂

Its practically useless, why do you want this card in the first place?

basically for small bits payments like buying coffee and linking it to food apps, etc, cos i don't want to use my main cc. PLUS, you can get points from each transaction, ya?

i'm using fevo now (under M1) but they're discontinuing from april onwards so need to find an alternative.

any recommendations?

It will take forever to accumulate enough points to change anything if you spend on little things. This is a useless card. But considering no annual fees, can apply and keep it for retirement use. Haha.

The challenges are not bad, especially power up.

Government service also not bad, can get points.

I had 2 declined transactions (merchant declined it).

Money deducted from GrabPay Wallet and NOT refunded. Been 2 weeks now.

Anyone faced the same issue?

As mentioned in this group repeatedly.

Don't use Grab Wallet / GrabPay MasterCard with per-charge pre-authorization transactions (eg in ComfortDelgro app for every booking) or transactions that may be refunded.

GrabPay MC doesn't auto refund the deducted amt, even after Merchant did not post the transactions (eg. did not claim the pre-authorization charge), refunded, etc.
Grab Support will make u wait for 7 days (the default merchant post period), aft that u need to provide PROOF from the merchant that they will not claim the pre-authorization or they've refunded the amt. Else Grab will not auto refund back the unclaimed charge amount.

Unlike banks' credit cards: Banks will auto refunded the charge amt, once the merchant didn't claim the pre-authorization amt aft 7 days or when the merchant refunded the amt. For GrabPay MC: Whenever there's a refund or unclaimed pre-authorization charge, it's the users' responsibility to report and proof to Grab, else you won't get back the money.

I got back my 2 refunds after sending them multiple messages. Did not provide proof.

I am sure they can dig out the transactions.

Will report to MAS if they forcefully withold refunds.

Huh. Remember the 25Dec 2020 grab reward points? After seeing what some of you have posted here, i wrote it off, and assumed i'll never get it. No big deal. It's small money. Worth like $4. So I didn't bother writing in to Grab.

They just credited me the points.
