I got failed transaction at supermarket today but half an hr later money refunded back to my account

Anyone encountered failed transaction error using grabpay card today but money still get deducted from grab wallet? I tried 2 times over the pos machine and both tries failed but still money get deducted. The cashier told me the deducted money will be refunded. True enough, there was refund but only for 1 failed transaction.

My question here is how do I get back the refund for the 2nd failed transaction?

Seems still many brick and mortar merchants not accepting grabpay MC. Hmm

Tip: the ‘out’ part need to be processed outside of grab app, and the ‘out’ cannot go back to grab else it’s will be treated as refunded transaction and points clawed back.

Same happened to me yesterday afternoon. $114.50 was deducted but the merchant said not transacted and I had to top up another time and the 2nd time went through. Called grab after that but before the call ended, MasterCard refunded me the failed transaction amount

Call grab if any of the failed transactions was not refunded till now

You cannot transfer money out from shopee wallet to bank account.

That's right, my money stuck in shopee wallets. Will take time to spend.

just found out use grappay app to scan and pay will not be eligible for power up event.. mean can only use grab card ?

can use grabpay directly on certain apps/website like Qoo10 and Zalora. But of course GPMC more flexible

Ya. Immediate and if it is not reflected, it should be consider as ineligible for the power up challenge
