from the wordings i think the annual caps for wallet n gpmc are linked in a way but from wat fone has experienced, it may not be so.

Mine was in 2020. There have been changes since Grab allows bank transfers. Back then, credit card top ups can be transferred to another bank account, now it is not possible, so my experience may not be relevant.

Got 2 new targeted promo for me but not my family acc. Check if u have that

1) get 1500p for topping up $301 and above via paynow VPA

2) get up to 2400p via link and top up from UOB

I have completed 1 and gotten 1500p

When i want to do no.2
Grab doesn't let me top up. So got to wait for 24hrs i guess..

*both promo deadline is 26th March

My fam account doesn't have these. But i tried my luck to test no.1
As expected, no points given -_-

For no.1, after i top, i transfered the amt back to my bank via paynow :D works fine

Hi Peppermint, Have you done 2 ? Can transfer back to bank ? :)

For both 1 and 2, if I try a small amount, will I still be able to get the points when I topup the required amount later eg $300 for 1 and $100 for 2 ?

Yup, all can transfer back to bank. :)
For 1, u have to 1 shot top. No second chance. So i 1 shot top $400 and right after transfer back to bank.

For 2, i top 3 x $100 and gotten 3 x 500p straight away. After that i transfer back to bank :D I have activated the auto top up set to $20. But havent materialise yet cos my grab still got $ :)

Btw yesterday or the day before also got a survey answer 3 simple question got 50p. Seems like everyone has it cos all around me all have that survey. Main page down can see

Thanks!

1. Somehow my Grab app will crash whenever I select topup by banking app (use paynow vpa). If select topup by cards or linked bank account, it goes to next screen. Have called Grab hotline and they will check and revert.

2. Realised I already linked to my UOB bank account on 4 Dec. Promo get 500 points for every $50 topup (3 times). So may not be eligible for the current promo. I can't try because back then I set the limit to $50. Have gone to UOB internet banking to raise limit but somehow it still revert back to $50. Will wait to see if the revised limit is updated tomorrow.

I checked. Don't see the survey.

Referring to your point 2. Now i trace back my payment. I also got participate the one back in Nov 3 x $50 UOB top up. So it's a separate promo. Cos i also gotten both points back in Nov and now :)

For my no.1) i actually top up $400 via DBS VPA. Instruction is pretty straight forward

log in digibank app.
- pay and transfer
- tap paynow top left corner,
- select paynow to VPA
- edit the following to your grab hp no.
+659xxxxxx#GRAB

Eg your hp no. is 91234567
Then it should be +6591234567#GRAB

- paste the above (edited to your Grab hp no.) Under "enter vpa" in DBS app

- check and ensure recipient's nickname is correct

- top up your desired amt. That's it

Oh great. I try when the revised limit is updated. 😃

The paynow VPA, think I need to do the link from Grab app first then can use bank IB to transfer. Have to wait for them to revert why app crash whenever I go in. My sis account working fine.

Thank You sis. Managed to get both done. Got the 3000 points. 😃

Hit the max 2 times transfer out so need to transfer out tomorrow.

Btw, I managed to link the paynow VPA by going to account - - > settings. If go from topup route app still crash.

My opinion is for online purchase especially overseas don't use Grab. If there are disputes later, Grab don't give good support. AMEX or other credit cards you can still raise dispute for the charges.

Likewise Grab very slow on refund. Sometimes have to call them then they trigger refund. Their process is not as stable as credit cards.

3 x 500p is manual top up. I'm referring to the auto top up u will get another 3 x 300p. Total add up gives u 2400p max

The targeted advert says 2400p
Yours same?

Yes. Mine says 2400p.

Overlook the auto topup. I thought only get once. Will do it tomorrow. Thanks !
