Same here. tried paying at 4 finger got declined. apparently some technical issues on their back end and several users have called in hotline to report (including myself).

Because MRT gantry doesn't deduct your money on the spot. I think u could still use it even if your wallet is empty.

I assume it's similar to how it works with Revolut MC.

You start with a 10c charge on the card. After 5 days, or $15 of accumulated charges, whichever happens first, the charges on the simplygo app will turn green, and in about 2-3 days, the charge on the card will change from 10c to whatever is the accumulated charges. During that time, it's possible to continue taking bus & mrt with the card, even if your balance on the card is not sufficient. However, when SimplyGo tries to charge the full amount & your balance is insufficient, the card gets blacklisted. Not sure what you'll need to do to get it unblacklisted.

I am using huawei phone. previously u can only add grab to Samsung pay. now u can use it on Android NFC after app update. tested and it works.

Tested, Work well with Oneplus 7T, should be same for other android phone.

Relatively new user. Want to share a mistake i made.

Made a mistake of paying lump sum of $4.8k in silver tier.

Thinking that the points earned will auto breakdown:

E.g. First x amount = silver tier (3 points per dollar)
Next x amount = gold tier (4.5 points per dollar)
Next x amount = platinum tier (6 points per dollar)

End up i got bumped straight to platinum tier and only earned 4.8k x 3 = 14,400 points
