I just noticed that favepay, ShopBack and paying using grab wallet via merchant’s websites no longer earn 6 grabpoints per $1. Instead, I received mystery box with 0.3% points equivalent. With these, I can finally stop using my grab wallet. I dun recall any email from them on this change and it was still 6 grabpoints for a dollar spent last week
just realised this too :s13:

H ithere,

I am currently using Grab Pay card and Grab CC as my daily driver. Even since amex stop top up. I need a replacement. My common spend.
1. $300 worth of starhub bill every month.
2. $30 worth of prudential bill everymonth
3. Shopback, Favepay, hawker food.
4.Entertainment, go JB/ Taiwan.

Can suggest any replacement card.
My main concern
1) Link to DBS/POSB -
2) Connivence - can link to Giro
3) Preferably no need to track spend
4) If need to track spend can suggest as well.
5) can pay hawker food.
6) NFC physical card.

To be clear Grab is a debit card and not a credit card.

If want the easy way out, use Amex TCB with 1.5% flat out cashback. If not can consider the DBS Live Fresh, based on your spend you shoukd hit all the criteria. Pair it with salary credit to a DBS Multiplier account and you should be well served.

If you don't mind tracking account balances and spend, there are OCBC or UOB alternatives.
