GTX760 or 280X?

R9 280x. Faster. Better performer than gtx760

Drivers wise I would say gtx760. Must wait for amd for new drivers as now their drivers are beta.

I read that some users got problems with the AMD drivers but not sure if they are applicable to R9 280X.

That is one of my concerns before jumping in to AMD Radeon GPU.

I know R9 280X is better in terms of performance. I am referring to performance CONSISTENCY.

In the first thing we are talk in of a different tier. You can't directly compare with gtx760. Gtx770 then is the right opponent.

Even if it is not consistent. It should not be performing at a sub par level with the gtx760.

Drivers wise can improve. I'm using it everyday for all my games I do not have any issues yet.

Initial my palit gtx760 also crap drivers lol. The worse is when playing bf4 using official ones also still crash during that time. Till they launch another beta driver just for bf4.

Asus is by avertek already. Unless certain mobo is still by ban leong.

Powercolor is from ban leong.

How old is the psu? If not old still can use. 500w is still enough for single gpu setup.
