it's not whether you or I know about its importance. it's about whether people of China knew anything about the massacres by CCP, specifically by this farmer chairman Mao.
i think they know.. but just pretend to keep quite or downplay it.

the irony is how many of us always condemn china as beneath us.. but in terms of innovation, what have we actually created or produced compared to them? really lose face. we ourselves zero substance but we go around condemn others who actually have more substance than us. :(
but we dun every other yr cry for blood and vengeance. we win in turns of big heart.........

Both are equally as important though.
On top of that, CCP kp about Shanghai Massacre by KMT which killed 300000 people.
It is a purge of Communist la.
CCP is trying to paint them as innocent.

well some one said he will extinguish a whole culture and civilisation as well right?

That's blatant war crime in violation of UN rules... Forumners here turned a blind eye on all these atrocities happening right now and instead stirred on old history happened decades ago...

Will this massacre be made into a movie like those movies depicting the Nanjing Massacre?

Nanjing Massacre is easy to greenlight. Same reason you won't get to see movies focusing on the great famine during the Mao's Great Leap Forward. Instead you get movies that either whitewash the history of Mao (like Beginning of the Great Revival) portraying him as some benevolent leader or war movies focusing on Western (or Japanese) imperialism serving a specific psychological purpose. By highlighting events like the Nanjing massacre, Korean Wars, Opium Wars, the burning of the Summer Palace, or the struggle against the Eight-Nation Alliance etc, the films tap into a deep-seated sense of national trauma less about documenting full reality and more about maintaining the foundational mythos. :s13:

This one already settled through agreement can't really make a claim like Taiwan or Indian-Chinese borders. Many chinese elites didn't forget that Russian has been the chinese most fatal enemies. Many Russians today still didn't view the chinese favorably and view China as the most dangerous enemy.
Treaty of Aigun is considered one of the major unequal treaties signed by AT

Who? Compared to what Mao's 40m Chinese give or take? To put these numbers in perspective, even the extreme low-end it exceeds the total casualties of WW1. :s13:

There is movie by ROC called 皇天后土 which tried to embarass Mao cultural revolution.

There is also a lot of talk show by ROC (Taiwan) condemming Mao,
Nowadays with Internet, its a matter of time their autrocities will be known by people one.

Now 3 US carriers stuck in Persian gulf operations, waiting for what siah
The 7th fleet, strongest of US naval asset is still defending Taiwan as of Apr.
Troops stationed at Japan redeployed to second island chain.
Remaining half still at Okinawa.
Deployment of mid range missiles at Yonaguni Islands by Japan.
But mainly because now US is blockading now.
If war, their reserves will deplete even quicker. Easier for their ppl to revolt.

Why? Is the report button being exploited nowadays to censor views that you don't like to read or made you uncomfortable? Does the truth hurt that much? :s13:
Actually nowadays people become more civilize. Last time it is not just the problem on Qing/ROC/PRC. Other countries also use imperalism and facism on other countries which is equally as bad. Communism is also a form of imperialism whereby they exported their ideology overseas.
