Hi Everyone, I'm going to enlist on 9 Oct 2018. May I know roughly how long the confinement period will be? and will I be able to bookout on 20 Oct 2018? Thanks for the help in advance

Just count 10 days, if you enlist on Oct 9, you should book out on Oct 19th.

Anyone know if its good? Is the pay similar to Staff Assistant/SMT?

Should I appeal? I have like until this coming Monday before my vocation is final...

Why don't you call NS hotline to ask or ask the university? Since if it is local (they should have experienced such issues before). You will rely any information here to make a decisive decision?

It is an overseas Uni coming to SG to interview. If I am unable to attend in SG, then need to fly overseas to attend interview, which if I'm not wrong is not possible during POBC also?
I contacted NS and they just told me they cannot advise me anything and I can only ask my CM when I enlist. But I need to make before I enlist...so wanted to see if anyone here knows anything about this...

Pretty sure someone here maybe able to share some experience. But you also need to be aware that your experience and their experience may not be the same. So you need to be aware that if someone here say can, and you tell the university you can make it, but end up you can't.

Hi! 172 intake here~ I am down to my final week in HTA before passing out, I would like to know whether is there still one more haircut just before POP? I had my latest haircut 2 weeks ago. Anyone from 169-171 can remember whether was there anymore haircut just 1 week before POP can help to clarify my doubt please! Greatly appreciate it! If there is, is it 0 whole head or 2 by 1?

Yes. Regardless SAF,SPF or SCDF you are serving NS, so you will botak. Are you enlisting soon ?

May or may not depends on ur luck!

By the way most likely 14-21 Oct (8 days incl weekends & 5 days block leave) will be the rest days. U will report to unit or HTA on 22 Oct for voc trg.. Gd luck!

It is unlikely, but there was a squad, whose CM basically sent everyone for the OCT interview. There was one who made it in, and he studied in a University Prep Course. But I think his CM did a lot of write up for him, as he was the squad leader, and was the best SC from his squad...
