Oh, part time, because in NS, generally after you complete 20-22 months of NS, you can defer for University entrance, like if you finish your NS in October, but your University starts in August, then you can "ORD" early to start, but you will have to complete the rest of your NS during your holidays.
As for part time studies, if you can schedule your classes during your off days, then sure. But be sure to check with your TL of your team before you start part time studies.
NS in SPF is 1 year and 10 months if you have attained Silver and Above during your NAPFA/IPPT you took during your JC/Poly/ITE, or if you took outside at Toa Payoh Stadium. Otherwise, you will serve 2 years.
As an NPCO, you will be working shift work, day shift, night shift then 2 off days.
As for your pay, as a CPL, you will get a salary of around $800+, after you promote to SGT (1), your pay will be about $900+. It really depends on how many night shifts you do a month, as every night shift you will claim meal allowance.
As for locations, most likely you will be posted to an NPC near your house. But may not always be the case. Some divisions are really quite big, like Ang Mo Kio Div (Foxtrot). You may stay in Ang Mo Kio, but be posted to Bedok (Golf Div). Although it is quite rare, it has been known to happen, as it depends on how much manpower the div needs to compensate the NSFs that will ORD from the team when you enter after passing out from your GRF course.
