Thinking of working on the shin musha and musha mk2.
Quick question: Does anyone have any suggestion for gold spray paint?
For eg Tamiya gold leaf? I have tried the Tamiya silver leaf before and it's rather flat for a silver color.
I have also tried the gold gundam markers on the sangokuden kits; while those gave a nice overall gritty feel, I'm thinking of a smoother finish for the mg kits.

hmm just wanna ask some of the bro here who own a PG strike freedom...

i heard lot of bad reviews about the PG strike freedom wings , the joints that connect to the backpack that break easily , just wanna ask , let say after finishing your PG strike freedom le, u just leave it there on display , is there still any chances of breaking ah?(i know this question seems a little dumb) but i just wanna find out the probability of it..

And also , it there any store that sell extra parts of the PG strike freedom ah? just wanna buy and put on hold in case it really break or what....

The joints that connect to the backpack seems so fragile>_< , Mine is just insert into the hole of the backpack nia , there no tightness or what , can be taken out easily...i thinking that i might be building the wrong way or what...lol....any bro out there who own a PG strike freedom also have the same problem as me ah?

did you mean the parts that connect the wings to the backpack? I had no problem with those parts, everything fit nicely (didn't paint the area going inside to the backpack).
I didn't do any mods on them too, despite some ppl suggested that, since I wasn't really confident with my skills, and I didn't want to fix something that's not broken.

ohh thx for the reply man , just a question , the joint that connect to the backpack , when u insert in , does it fit tightly? cause i dunno why for my PG strike freedom , when i insert the joint into the backpack , it does not fit tightly , is really just slot the joint into the backpack and can be taken out easily....lol... i not sure whether i build it wrongly or what=.=

hmm? they fit in nicely and tight enough. I guess you forgot to put a PC part? try to check the WA and WB runners...

hey dude , thx for the reply man!...it seems that i really forget to put a pc part , just finish fixing everything and it working fine now...it super tight...haha...

u need to dilute the paint first. what paint u using... aqueous, enamel or lacquer?

aqueous paint... can dilute with water

pour out a little bit of the paint, say about 50cent coin size, normally thats the size i use to paint armour, than at 1 corner of the paint add 2 to 3 drops of water from brush, and mix them up. Mix that corner only.

Than let it flow at the side of the plate and determine isit too thick or thin, and paint on the kit. Too thin, just add a bit more of paint from the rest of it.

Need a bit of trial and error to get what you want and after a while you'll know how to do it...

Normally i need to paint at least paint 2 layers

If you have airbrush just spray abit of hobby thinner on it and it will be gone. If you use spray cans, just spray gloss paint on the part lightly till its gone and then flat again after it dries. Make sure its hot, dry and sunny when doing it

thx for the reply! the spray gloss paint refer to the clear gloss right? if yes , than i just spray the top coat flat 2 hour ago , so it is ok to spray the super clear gloss now to get rid of the droplets?
