went to HK last mth, depending on the kits u getting, can be as cheap as sgd$40 ea

yea I went hk a few years back

their kits are cheaper than sg, but quite limited selection
can't find hag/hobbypoint type of variety

haven't bought any from taiwan but the selection is quite good from what I heard (wannian) iirc

Hi guys,

I recently got back into gunpla. I'm currently fixing up my MG Freedom Gundam.

An unfortunate thing happened just now. A piece sort of bend and seems broke and will not stay in place. :(

If I'm not wrong, it's a moving part of the knee. Not sure how to proceed for this leg if this joint is too weak. :(

Seeking for some advice on ways to fix this. My gunpla skills are still newbie level though. :o

Thanks for reading. :)

This is just my take on fixing it;

1) dab a small layer of super glue to the joint and let it dry b4 u connect it with the other parts.

2) use paint to cover up the white marks

nah I'm serious

went to a couple of recommended places, remember richmond was one of them
they do have a couple of kits here and there

but can't seem to find a specialized shop catering to it

anyway that was years back, not sure if they changed since

well i cant comment about a few years back since i hadnt been visiting hk for the past 10 years, but what i do know is if u r patient enough, u can find a lot of hidden treasures lying around.

from what i observed, it seems that the more unpopular shops like those in tai yuen street tend to offer better pricing but they lack variety.

its cheaper correct but the sinnaju golden crest is a beast to handle. require tons of time to mask it

If you're doing reverse wash there shouldn't be any masking involve. It's basically painting acrylic gold then enamel black and using cotton bud+enamel thinner or zippo to wipe the black of the gold areas.

Kam Xia !! Can I assume that prices in Japan should be equal or lower than the (discounted) prices on these 2 websites?

price of the kit is printed on the box itself. it is the last few numbers on the series of numbers above the barcode.
that price is the recommended retail price. if u go to yodobashi camera or bic camera dept store in jap, the kits are 20-30% off this price.

I planning to get 2 more swords for the MG Sengoku Astray.

Something similar to the 2 swords for MG Astray Red Frame Lowe Guele's Customize.
I can't find any online stores selling the swords separately.

What's the best way to do it?
- Making my own swords. (which I have no idea how)
- Buying another MG kit just for the swords
- Buying bootleg kits just for the swords

:s11:

Pardon my noob question. :o
