HAW would be to more choice place as they hv a proper workshop and equipments for ppl to learn.

afaik there is the shop at penisular,HAG, and MWS
any comments on the quality/pricing?

imho, best place to start gunpla skill is your home. Buy a PG and start doing it

LOL...PG should be the last to do esp for starters. Usually pple will suggest MG or HG/NG.

tried some paints

left to right, gaia pearl silver, gaia pearl gold mix with pearl copper, mr crystal color sapphire blue, mr crystal color diamond silver.

all coated with 1 layer of fluorescent clear.
pardon the lousy hp camera quality

PG may be too difficult and time consuming for someone starting on gunpla. would be better to start with HG or MG.

for snap fitting, MG will be a good start as the finished product looks pretty good already, and there are fewer seamlines and nubs marks that are visible.

for those who wanna go beyond snap fitting, then HG is probably better as there are more things to learn, such as clearing seamlines, painting, masking. it is also cheaper so wun be so heart pain if screw up

RG is very difficult wor... it is more complex than MG, with lots of small parts.

for snap fitting, SD is probably the easiest coz it got the least parts. but to make it look good, SD may be one of the hardest to do!
