there are facilities in SMU for modelling?

They used the tables just for assembly.

why east side don't have such club. heh.

I am in this scale modelling club, but it is at Bishan CC. open on sunday afternoon
https://www.facebook.com/modelloplus

You can join me and my mates at Cheng San CC. We will always have 1 session in the last Sunday of the month and recently, we are expanding to holding it twice a month. Our next meet is set on the 30th of this month.

Our page is as below.
Char's Hanger

As for places around Bugis, my mates spent about 2 days during the jubilee weekend at SMU premises to build their kits.

Hmm, but after assembling, isn't it difficult to bring back the half-assembled pieces and whatever is completed back home? May not go back into the box nicely...

pla-plating is already considered advance already!

anyway, newbie also can start club one mah. just gather a few like-minded ppl and meet up regularly. once the grp gain traction, maybe will have pros joining u all.

I think the challenge is finding a location. we were lucky that Bishan CC approached us and provided us a room to do our airbrushing, and for storing the equipment and tools such as air compressor.

How to know if the decal is precut? Can link me to at least one of them? Saw 2 different type. One is without branding another is with some 3rd party branding

I've bought from them, thats how I know.
Can't see from pics.

Also can't seems to find the shop now, its call Modeler R . All pre cut decals.

In fact even random shop that sell kits and decals, its also pre cut.

Just rem to choose shops with at least 4 diamonds and above.
And buy everything you need from the same shop better, to save on internal shipping.

Anyone knows where to get 70% alcohol isopropyl? Planning to try panel line with permanent marker and then using alcohol isopropyl to wipe off excess. Watson and guardian have, but too expensive based on volume cost ratio.anyone can share where u get yours and how much for what volume? Thanks in advance

Not worth to apply the surfacer via hand brush, better off spraying from airbursh or spray cans.

Or, just migrate to the setup I am using, saves the cost from the cans in the long run.

Anyone knows how to minimise the nub marks on plated kit like phenex mg?

will the Gold gundam marker work?
I have a GM04 marker which I just opened, but the ink is blackish brown (not sure if its because its been in storage for too long)

Anyone bought the Dm akatsuki? not sure if I should gloss or matte it
