Still ok la, now mostly travel down to Hobby Point to grab thinner and paint loh, kits either buy from carou, HAG/HAW/BBT or wait for sale loh

What if in the future theres E-Gunpla?
3D print the gunpla or build it virtually in a proprietary app via Oculus or Vive
Offload production to the consumer.

Maybe the Dragon Momoko people can somehow DRM and sell plans of conversion kits compatible with MG frames out in the market. Print what you buy lol.

Or people can share printable mods for kits like people share mods for games.
Maybe Bandai can set up a marketplace.

But first Bandai need to make 3D printers more commonplace, cheaper.

Nope, you just pay the prices on the website and the shipping costs.

Of course my purchases have been less than sgd 1k, so I think it doesn't fall under commercial purposes or something.

doesn't matter. buy $1000 worth of gunpla from Japan + charged 7% gst, still vastly cheaper compared to sg prices with gst.

Odd thing is the reseller margin from the bandai cost price not enough for SG shops that they need to mark up even more. even 2x japan price. our rental and manpower costs that much higher than Tokyo?

At least, carousell/fb sellers are more reasonable with their kits prices being 20% or so markup still okay. 100% markup is siao for general release kits.

If buying a lot at one shot, HLJ and etc still cheaper even with shipping especially if at time when the yen weakens.
