Anyone using airbrush cleaning pots?

I used the AB for like 45 mins, and I spent almost 2 hours cleaning it.

I used the AB for like 45 mins, and I spent almost 2 hours cleaning it.

what elite ab u using? i clean my harder & steenbeck/iwata/procon boy take the most 15 mins nia.

and ab cleaning pot is not to clean the ab. its just a container for u to zhua the thinner into when u flush the ab. u can do with or without it.

the equipment to clean the ab is ultrasonic cleaner.
u can google abt it. plamooutthere has a thread on it.

cheap thrill:

trying to create the sword edge to be more reflective than the non edge part of grandslam (akin a katana), hopefully the two diff reflective zone (of the back of strike's head) is obvious here..

mine not elite ab.. mine is peasant ab... I dismantled all the parts and wipe them with ab cleaner and toilet paper or cotton bud until shiny...

Thinner in paintcup- cotton bud scrub
Backflush
Dump Thinner in paintcup
Cotton bud to nozzle (with needle retracted of course)
Thinner in paincup- spray thinner
Take out needle- wipe with tissue+thinner
Done

Once in a while... ultrasonic cleaner bath

bro, can share how you do that? diff reflective surfaces. u use the powder?

Thinner in paintcup- cotton bud scrub
Backflush
Dump Thinner in paintcup
Cotton bud to nozzle (with needle retracted of course)
Thinner in paincup- spray thinner
Take out needle- wipe with tissue+thinner
Done

Once in a while... ultrasonic cleaner bath

dump thinner in paint cup
backflush
blow out all the thinner
cotton bud scrub
dump thinner backflush
blow out all the thinner
remove needle guard, nozzle guard
cotton bud scrub
remove nozzle, pull out needle from front
nozzle bud scrub, needle kitchen towel wipe
scrub with ab cleaning brush from the front
assemble

is there any place in sg to get those ultrasonic cleaner?
cheapest I saw on ebay locally cost around $50

Hi Guys,

I'm new here, saw this forum sometime back. Seeing all of the pros works here which are so fantastic makes me want to get advice from you all to improve my modeling.

I don't have an ab so i've been using spray cans but due to the limited spray colors i have, some of my models are semi sprayed.

These are the photos of my 1st model and my latest model. Realize i need to find a better background to take photos of my models with, so sorry for the messy backgrounds. Hoping to get any advice/suggestion to improve. (cant post the image so i will just post the link.
