Yeah the 5% off via visa and tax refund(need to exceed 10000 yen) stack. However, since the exchange rate is set by visa credit card, not sure how much the saving also.

Ya, it's more worth it to get MG and PG. But nowadays Carosell price so competitive Liao. Think it will be more worth to get rare kit...but not easy to find..

I buy tamiya tools and markers there. Cutters etc. Quite good price. Going this month again:.

i use this to check the rates

https://usa.visa.com/support/consumer/travel-support/exchange-rate-calculator.html

for citibank cc, the bank fee is around 2.5%

Even he also shop online for his gunpla. He shops locally for hobby supplies. He buys kits when almost no price difference between online price plus shipping cost. Before he got sponsored, pretty much was a hlj regular customer.

Expo update
-New additions and further discounted price.
-DBS Gunpla discount promo finally out.

Only the Assault Buster Gundam seems worth it while the rest "exclusive price" are simply online price + shipping.

**The Gundam Builders area for the kids to try building a FG gundam has apparently become an adhoc daycare centre while the parents vanish somewhere. The organizers should have a requirement that a parent stay with the child.

Should see the Kotobukiya VF1S Battroid kit converted into Gundam. Like that also can.

Heard the event was so sudden so they accepted just about any entry.

A lot of ushers were there to help the kids build the kit during the Gundam build sessions.

The floodgates will be opened on 10 June 2016. But supposedly still limited to 2 of each per customer.
