Hey guys! Anyone hand paint with lacquer(Mr.Color)? I haven't tried it yet because i'm still building my kit.

I'm trying to hand paint the pipes and hydraulic and maybe the fingernails on my kit, the rest will air brush. Was afraid the paint might dry too fast but the hobby shop guy told me thinning it with abit more leveling tinner to paint per ratio might help abit in delaying the drying process.

Any tips guys?

If the part is small enough, no need to worry about brushstrokes.

I suggest getting liquid mask(to mask the areas that you don't want paint on) for hand brushing large areas. Solves the problem on removing the over flow.

Paint retarder slows down drying and helps self level. Mix in the thinning.

There's this Mrhobby sol R and sol neo both liquid base masking, which one do you guys suggest for lacquer paint? I researched online got mixed reviews man

planning to get a customized cabinet to display my kits, mostly MGs and PGs

so would like to chk with experts here wat would be the best height for individual shelving for MGs and PGs

PGs would be 00 raiser and strike freedom with their base stands and both unicorns in unicorn modes and maybe for future PG kits

MGs height any big height differences for most kits as seems like sinanju is quite tall as compared to most MG kits and also nu gundam with the attached funnel backpack and unicorn phenex with the 2 attached shields

For PGs, you will need height clearance between 50-60cm, for MGs, about 35-40cm.

IBO HG S1 kits going at 3 for $15.
Various g reco kits 3 for 15 too.
HG revive mk-II 2 for 15.
IBO S1 1/100 kits 20+ each.

That's all I can remember.

Oh, and unrelated to gunpla, but KR Fourze belt going at $10 lol.

I didn't see any pg or mg unfortunately.

Ya I just came back from there didn't buy anything in the end as nth appealed to me. Only the season 1 IBO kits and old hg kits are on sale.

The only PG green zaku was cleared on the first day and the remaining mg zeta and mkii was cleared yesterday.

Really disappointing this time round.

Gunpla won't oos , so relax . But once u start clearing your backlogs you will feel the pain ....
