It does look intriguing although if I'm going for 4-legged machines, it's either Zoids or the Gaia Gundam.

And I just finished my HG Unicorn Gundam and am quite satisfied with the decision not to paint it.
dai's.

Do not give up because of bad experience, that's what this forum is for, any problem you encounter can ask here. At least you are willing to try first.

A painted kit will always looks much better than plastic.

So what's the problem with your kit? You using spray can, ab or handpaint?

A few close.up shots will be good.

Alongside my other Unicorn-ish collection, leaving only the Banshee Destroy Mode left. I'm surprised with my fascination with the Unicorn mode, was even tempted to get the discounted RD on HLJ.

Nonetheless, the reason why I didn't bother doing much with it was due to previous experience:

From right: My first Gunpla, looking back was ruined by the matt white and thick blue panel lines. Also RX-78-2 decals don't really suit it, and it just look terrible.

The second one was also ruined when I used industrial white on it and then I decided to paint in a dark blue scheme.

Phobia from the 2 experiences, I left both Banshee and Unicorn untouched in the next builds.

Oh, just wanna mention that the Keiko's Unicorn decal works really nice [It's 1/100 scale for those interested] although you'll find that the precut might not be as sharp as Bandai's.

hehehez~ im probably going to get LaGOWE...and yea I usually prefer Zoids as well...going to get the Liger Zero Jager once it hits our shores =p....

I like the Banshee/Unicorn with the wings...it looks damn cool~...and that's one hell of a collection u hav...all Unicorn-based 0.o

I did the leg with normal gunpla line pen.

The skirt was my virgin enamel wash.
The method really cool. Those fine groove lines just dip n the liquid will flow... Very neat. But I need to learn to control corner edge

Use cotton bud dip in zippo fluid or if u using thinner to clean up those smerge panel lines.

Use zippo fluid to do better as it's not so corrosive

Would like to add on: if surface is painted matt n one applied e enamel, its quite challenging to clean up e smudged panel lines w zippo or enamel thinner

Airbrush collectibles

I know this might not be the right thread but anyone of you airbrush your collectibles to your own design?

I am looking for someone to do it for me. I have about 100 pcs of them to airbrush. And also is air brushing able to produce high gloss, high varnish effects?

Yes it is doable. Own design as in, your own color scheme? Using an ab u can create gloss/matt finishes for the kit/model..

Hi Guys I just came back from Korea. This is my first posting to this thread. I was disappointed at the taka sales today, that why I did not even buy any gunplas. The location in Korea. Seoul Station. hobby square. there is also Yong san station and I Park mall.

GUNPLA PARADISE close to yen prices. their mark up is not together with shipping price is not as high as SG, hence you can get merchant price. My suggestion for SG ppl is, go to nadedoum market (wrong spelling) change S$1 for 890won. because our sing dollars are strong currency, lets say if u change local sg shop will only give u 845 won.

MG wing pearl- S$60, MG Gundam- S$30, HG war limited S$27.

too bad i cannot check in or the airport staff will destroy my gunplas.
