Any other way to remove nubs? Tried using a exacto, ended up digging holes instead... I might try using cement.

dont cut too close to the part when you remove it from the runners. easier to sand it off if your nubmark is erm... less spread out? sorry don't really know how to describe it.

this is after i use a nail clipper to remove the nub. then i sand. So wif abit more nub easier to sand? thanks!

Question: Do top coats "remove" the scratches made by sandpaper?

no, topcoat do noy remove scratches.
u can sand e surface w finer grit sandpaper to remove scratch marks.

tried with 600 and 1000 sandpaper but it still looks dull. Tried using tamiya polishing compound (coarse and fine). The look is not the same... Does top coating fix this?

no, topcoating does not remove scratches.
there are higher grit sandpaper available than 1000.

I use nail clippers mainly to remove nubs on the inner frame. faster than using a knife

Though, how u use your finger to rub the area until smooth? o.0

gloss coat will make it glossy.
imho, dull look is due to the scratches caused by e sandpaper due to diffused reflection.
gloss coat will make e surface glossy but presence of scratches will still cause diffused reflection for gloss coat.

by the way, wat color scheme are u gg to paint for e rg justice?

not going to paint the exterior, but thinking of a colour for the inner frame... any suggestions?
