Hi! I was trying to thin some tamiya paint with Mr color's thinner but it doesn't seem to work. Any idea why?

tamiya paint is either enamel or acrylic paint. mr color's thinner is lacquer thiner, it doesnt work. unless u have pictures?

I think i bought enamel based tamiya paint. The colour code is X-some number. XF is acrylic i think. So what shd i use to thin it?

dont care whether look fierce anot laaa... go there buy whatever you want and just leave lor. if you're looking for advice on modelling u can try vising m workshop or hobby art gallery/hobby art @ work.

Hi guys! Saw at Gundam Expo that they were selling a lot of old kits that are hard to find now. (Like HG GSD wts) Is that the only place/time I can find such old or hard to find kits or is there a way to buy them from their warehouse or something?

As for old kits...i tink Hobby Point or something like that still has them...I remember seeing it...i might be mistaken though....
as far as i know...its much easier finding old kits overseas as compared to in Singapore~

Panel lining it makes it looks nicer. IMO, without panel like a bit weird.

my hands tend to draw out of line when i draw the panels. any tricks to share?

Assembling RG kit already takes hours (specially the stickers), panel lining would probably take another few hours. Hence the decision whether to do it or not.

It doesn't matter whether u draw out of line. You can always rub it off and give a bit of "weathered effect" or use a cotton bud to rub it off.

if u are using markers for panel line, use soft eraser to quickly wipe off the ink if out of line

enamel wash method to do panel line is a lot easier especially when doing RG coz there are so many lines everywhere!

slow down, take ur time to complete the kit and enjoy the process!

but the end result with panel lining is rewarding.

i having problem topcoating too. my 1st try at topcoating. duno how to do it correctly. i bought can type to spray but results very bad.
