hm.... that seems to be true on paper but it has no significant difference for me thou. i think it is more to keep the temperature constant since after sparying awhile the can will turn cold.

can some1 tell melting point of the plastic used in the kits? i wanna solder/melt something but i dont wan the colour to turn black =x

PS: Is there any difference in Tamiya P2000 and Industrial Grade 2000 Sandpaper?

Tamiya branding iirc.... i rather get the industrial grade 2000 cause cheaper and have a choice of wet or dry.

Saw sinaju stein selling at $110.00.

I like to ask bros here knowing anything about "Squardron" putty? I am quite newbie to putty thou.

Is tamiya putty anything simliar to this special "Squardron putty"

if not, is this available in Hobby point or HAG? So far I have never used much putty to seal up any seams for my gunpla.

Is there any store in the north or west side? I really not so keen to go all the way to tiong bahru/suntec/sunshine to get 1 colour (some too long got dried up) of Mr colour or Mr thinner.

Ah ha.... Squadron putty..... Its a good putty and works the same way as tamiya putty. Some say its smoother and shrinks lesser than tamiya, but its subjective anyway.....

Yup. My initial experience with tamiya putty was that after 1 day of drying, it shrink and still got a hole. I have to re-putty another layer and wait another day to dry. Took me 2-2-3 days just to do a few parts! Then I gave up....

Tamiya putty cannot do very deep holes, i think the best it can do is seamlines iirc. Try A-B epoxy putty, tamiya light curing putty or the super glue +powder. I favour super glue + powder

The hole were actually the seams. Those were the old ng & hg 1/100 kits
