still can... just need to be more careful when cleaning up with enamel thinner, or else whole line gets clean off then have to do again.

I see. Thanks for explaining. Where is the best place to get the tamiya enamel paint and zippo thinner?

i am using tamiya enamel paint. for brush, any brush will do, need not be fine brush. it doesnt matter if the paint gets everywhere, coz u will be cleaning up with enamel thinner/zippo

hmm then need to apply top coat over first? read some links that they suggest applying it.

i know that if you painted the plastic with paint first then you need to apply top coat over if not will damage the paint when cleaning up with thinner/zippo

however im just gonna do panel line wash on a RG kit, I think don't have to apply top coat?

the optimum solution would be to use gloss topcoat before the enamel wash so that the surface will be glossy enough for the enamel wash to flow consistently.

icic.. darn then gonna take longer to complete this kit since I have to wait for the topcoat to dry..

topcoat wont take so long to dry de la, a few mins will do actually.

Most hobby shop have pre-mixed panel accent color like brown n black, so save u the trouble to get enamel paint n thinned urself. As for zippo lighter fluid, any hardware store should carry them.....

Anyone kena rj london spray can bloating? Was spraying the white primer this afternoon after I was done and keeping my stuff i realised the base of the can was rounded, I.e instead of concave it is now a dome. Damn weird and it was not near any heat source. Threw the can away as scared it might explode and damn sian cos use abt 1/4 only

can use. i doing just that. mine bloated at bottom. but not sure that will affect the quality of the paint or not.
1 tip i learn from the bros here is spray cans must store upside down after using. and try to squeeze the nozzle while holding the can upside down to clear the nozzle so that it wont get stuck easily before storing it upside down.
